The Cordillera Industry and Energy Research and Development Consortium (CIERDEC) is a tripartite organization of the academe, government and business sectors.
Member-agencies are committed to build and strengthen their Research and Development (R&D) capabilities on industry, energy and emerging technology. Eventually, these will contribute to the overall regional and national industrial development in the context of global competitiveness.

We lead and empower institutions, researchers and experts to meaningfully collaborate towards responsive and strategic research and innovation on industry, energy and emerging technologies for a better Cordillera.
Our Goals
- To formulate a Research and Development Agenda and monitor its implementation to close the gap between available research outputs and needs of industry, energy and emerging technologies;
- To promote implementation of the R&D Agenda in the area of industry, energy and emerging technologies thru:
- funding of researches
- increasing awareness of the R&D Agenda;
- To strengthen inter-organizational network and linkages among members with the appropriate local and international R&D entities for resource generation and effective information sharing;
- To encourage utilization of developed technologies;
- To provide technical assistance and extension services among members;
- To develop a pool of highly skilled and competent scientists and researches; and
- To provide policy recommendations in the area of energy, industry and emerging technologies.
